Staff Training

SHORE Community Services offers the Illinois Department of Human Services (DHS) Approved Training for Social Service Organizations. Individuals receive certification as Direct Service Professionals (DSP) and/or as a Qualified Mental Retardation Professional (QMRP). Training is offered on-site, to SHORE employees and to outside agency staff. A QMRP/DHS Certified Instructor conducts the training.

The center is physically accessible. Classes have limited space, therefore enrollment will be determined on a first come, first served basis. Missed classes are made up at the discretion of the instructors’ schedule.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Cancellations made prior to the scheduled training date will receive a refund. Course fees are not refundable for cancellations made after the training date.

TAB Testing is administered as an option.
